Following a historic 20-year run throughout Europe, largely recognized as one of the leading sneaker boutiques in the world, Sneakersnstuff this week opened its first store in the U.S. Fittingly, they’ve planted their Stateside roots in New York City.
Nestled in the trendy confines of the Meatpacking District, the 3,500-square-foot space, designed by Swedish Architect Jenny Askenfors of Bofink Design Studio, houses the best from all the major footwear brands like Nike, adidas, Reebok, New Balance and more. The budding brick and mortar will also play host to activations for many of those same brands, as well as a haven for SNS’ own namesake brand and their many brand collaborations.
Among the shop’s most inventive rollouts in early 2018 is the bar – run by several of Sweden’s most notable restaurateurs as a brand-activated events space as well as a hub for nightly parties. The idea was spawned after SNS embarked on a successful stint owning and operating a club in Berlin last year.
