SNIPES is celebrating Juneteenth with a three-day activation on the East Coast “Black is Not a Monolith” series.
Stretching from Baltimore to New York City, the activation consists of an immersive celebration that shines a spotlight on the diverse identities within the Black community while paying homage to the relentless spirit of Black entrepreneurs.
In addition to the panels, SNIPES will be releasing exclsuive merchandise ranging from a co-deisgned SUPLMNT bottle, a stylish tote bag designed, and an event t-shirt.

Juneteenth In-Store Activation at Fulton Street Store in Brooklyn, NYC

Embark on a sensory adventure through the cultural haven of Fulton Street in Brooklyn. SNIPES sets the stage for an immersive in-store activation that promises to be an experience like no other. Prepare to indulge in delectable complimentary food and beverages, groove to electrifying beats spun by live DJs, and immerse yourself in the world of Cloudy Donuts. This remarkable 100% vegan, small-batched gourmet donut shop, hailing from Baltimore, MD, and Brooklyn Heights, NY, will grace the event with its mouthwatering delights. As the icing on the cake, students from The UA Unison School will join us at 1:00 PM for an awe-inspiring art workshop led by the incomparable Brian Ward, known as Brian the Balloon Artist and the visionary behind The Baby Bear Brand. Witness their creative genius come to life as they craft a magnificent Juneteenth masterpiece under Brian’s expert guidance.

Brace yourself for a deep dive into various topics that empower and shape the future of the minority community. Our esteemed panelists include:
- Zewiditu Jewel: A partner of Cloudy Donut Co., a Black-owned 100% vegan donut shop with locations in Baltimore and New York City.
- Sherelle Hogan: CEO and Founder of Pure Heart Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children impacted by parental incarceration.
- Brian Ward (Brian the Balloon Artist): Owner of Art on Display, a custom balloon art and design company promoting positivity through creative displays.
- Jairus Morris: Founder and CEO of Suplmnt, a company focused on educating and empowering urban communities about the importance of water hydration.

To conclude the Juneteenth celebrations, SNIPES will host a cultural mixer at Hotel Revival.
