It’s been a long and daunting wait for Miami-based Solefly’s Air Jordan 17 Low collaboration. Firstly, back when the model was previewed last summer, it wasn’t announced as an official collab. More to that notion rang true when pairs of the model were customized for the likes of Quavo, DJ Khaled and his son Asahd, Mark Walhberg, Drake and others.
As time lingered on, though, an official release came into fruition. SoleFly has long worked with Jordan Brand on limited edition collabs. This particular one plays off the pair Michael Jordan wore during the 2002 NBA All-Star game. So it’s fitting this pair would release on All-Star Weekend.
Expect the limited edition release of the SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Low “Lightning” on February 17 for $225.
