Featured on the feet of the United Center statue but lacking NBA endorsement thanks to Mike’s first retirement, the Air Jordan 9 outsole is somewhat seldom seen compared to the other AJs. Nevertheless, it’s still easily identifiable. The basketball version was global in inspiration, featuring words in an array of languages on the outsole, while Mike’s personal pairs with the Barons were mostly cleated.
