Taking advantage of UA Icon, Under Armour’s customizable sneaker design platform, Warriors superstar Stephen Curry laced up a true dad shoe against the New York Knicks on Tuesday.
Using the UA Icon customizable process, Curry added a picture of his two daughters Riley and Ryan to a black and white iteration of his Under Armour Curry One. The photo of Curry’s daughters are prominently featured near the front of both sneakers.
“I had those in my closet for a while and it’s actually something with [Under Armour] you can obviously design your shoes so I did it a long time ago,” Curry told reporters after the game (via the Associated Press). “Just walked by ’em today and was like, ‘all right, let me go back and rock the Curry 1s with my daughters on the side to give me a little inspiration.’ It’s nice being home and all that kind of stuff.”
