Back in 2006, the Starbury footwear line launched, offering a price-conscious basketball shoe with NBA endorsement. Backed by Stephon Marbury and sporting his nickname, the shoes were rocked on court by the 2x All-Star during his days with the New York Knicks and sold exclusively at Steve & Barrys. Since then, Marbury has played professionally overseas and the shoes have been sold online. Today, Marbury previewed the relaunch of the footwear collection, displaying expansion to casual categories and more. Some of the previewed designs show similarities to famous signature shoes, trainers and other designer models. It is important to note that the original collection retailed for $15 a pair, with recent releases from Starbury packing the same price point. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for more information on the Starbury collection and give us your take in the comment section.
