The news of Kobe and Gianna Bryant’s deaths is still fresh for many of us. It’s hard to truly come to terms that Kobe Bryant, 41, and Gianna Bryant, 13, are no longer with us.
Following the confirmation of the tragic accident, Kobe Bryant-related merchandise, specifically sneakers, has become a desire for many individuals.
On one hand, you have people wanting to honor Kobe by purchasing what was left over on Nike. On the other hand, you had people across StockX, eBay and other places raising their prices for the sake of capitalizing after the news. To say the least, the latter is disgusting.
While no one can really put a hold on resellers, StockX announced that all of the proceeds from Kobe Bryant merchandise sales this week (sneakers, trading cards, etc.) will be donated to the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation.
