Mathieu Hagelaars and his Studio Hagel brainchild have just debuted a brand-new silhouette scheduled to drop this month dubbed the HAGEL Tent.
Hagelaars’ Amsterdam-based design studio started as a passion project on Instagram and quickly catapulted him onto the radars of Virgil Abloh and Daniel Arsham. Since then, Studio Hagel has given birth to some of the most innovative, one-of-a-kind silhouettes. Having already given the sneaker world a slew of head turners, including custom Air Force 1s for Takashi Murakami, numerous collaborations with Off-White, and an exciting experiment with the adidas Futurecraft 4D, Studio Hagel is ready to unleash its latest model later this November.
Shared via Hagel’s social account, the upcoming HAGEL Tent sports a shroud that can either be opened fully or worn closed with a sleek strap giving the pair a whole different silhouette. The all-black offering sports hi-vis “HAGEL” accents on the inner part of the shroud, as well as blue insole branding. Within the shroud is a clean bootie and below is a rubber treaded outsole.
The HAGEL Tent will drop in November via HAGEL’s online store. Interested readers can sign up to be notified of the release first. For more, check out our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar.
