A limited edition Stussy x Nike Vandal High by NOMA t.d. is coming to Japan as the California streetwear label honors its Harajuku chapter with an exclusive release. NOMA t.d. is based in Tokyo and fuses traditional Japanese tailoring with modern textile design. Led by Masako Noguchi and Takuma Sasaki, NOMA t.d. has become known for its hand-drawn patterns, contemporary silhouettes, and choice of tie-dyes and plaids.
Stussy is back and better than ever as the brand is experiencing a major second wind attributed to bestsellers like their Nike Air Max 2013 collection, Nike Air Penny 2, and Timberland collab. Around this time last year, Stussy had another hit with their Nike Vandal High SP “Fossil,” which also released in a “Deep Royal Blue” and “Black.” Now, Stussy revamps its Nike Vandal High with hand-dyed textiles from NOMA t.d..
Crafted with denim material, NOMA t.d. dyes Stussy’s Nike Vandal High a shade of deep indigo. The sneaker is accented with bold black piping that highlights the laces, toe boxes, and quarter panels. The Swooshes and side panels feature hand-dyed patterns in cherry blossom pink. These patterns complement the swirling Stussy “S” graphics that run along the ankle straps. To finish, the tongues are adorned with the Stussy’s signature Surfman insignia.
The Stussy x Nike Vandal High by NOMA t.d. releases on September 1, 2023. To purchase, visit Stussy’s Harajuku Chapter and http://jp.stussy.com. For more sneaker news and release dates, follow @NiceKicks on Instagram.
