It has now been 25 years since kids first experienced the mushroom eating, lizard riding Super Mario Brothers game that revolutionized the video game industry. To commemorate the glorious reign as one of the most influential characters in the industry, Nintendo has teamed up with Converse for their very own tandem of Super Mario Bros. x Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars.
This twosome is featured in white and black based colors with images of the original 8-bit Mario printed throughout the upper. The addition of the iconic gold star on the ankle finishes this pair off perfectly. Look for both of these pairs to release later this May at select Converse retailers.
