Continuing to raise awareness about colon cancer through sneakers, the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation unveiled “Stage 2” of their Blue Knots initiative on Monday.

For “Stage 2,” the KCCF wants to see the hashtag #BlueKnots be used at least 4,000 times on social media. Here’s more on “Stage 2” from the KCCF:

Our #BlueKnots goal for ‘18 is to see the #BlueKnots hashtag reach at least 4,000 uploads, which means we want even more involvement by everyone and more people wearing them for all 31 days of March. Ultimately, we want to garner more awareness about colon cancer, seeing that death rates have been increasing in young adults (20-54) since 2004 by 1% each year, partly because people don’t think about cancer, their overall health or seeing a doctor during this age.

Pick up a pair of “Stage 2” laces for $12 here and make sure to tag #BlueKnots on IG for your chance to get featured.
