Michael Jordan is no stranger to controversy when it come to his sneakers. The Banned 1, speaks for itself. However, in game 3 of the 1995 playoffs Michael debuted an unlikely pair of kicks. Penny Hardaway’s signature sneaker, the Nike Flight One was worn by Michael in, game 3 of the 1995 NBA finals in order for him to adhere to the NBA’s strict uniform policy of that time. The predominantly black sneakers were surprising as Michael was competing against Penny and the Orlando Magic having to borrow his opponents signatures in order to match his team’s shoes.
