Taka Hayashi’s work with Vans Vault has yielded some very unique, premium sneakers. The Japanese artist started working with the California shoe brand by applying his art to established silhouettes, but has since moved on to producing his own models, including this shoe. The Akat LX first appeared last year in some leather colorways but has since returned in brown, black and dark grey suede builds. Along the side of the shoe, a repeating line of forward-pointing triangles is emblazoned between parallel stitching lines and small crosses can be seen on the toe box. You can grab all three now at select retailers like Proper.
