Taka Hayashi x Vault by Vans Style 24 & 47 Release Date

Vault by Vans has introduced the most-lux skate designs, often with revamped materials and construction that differentiate it from its main-line counterparts. In-house designer Taka Hayashi recently revealed his latest works, which include two archived pairs: the OG Style 24 LX and OG Style 47 LX.

Archived pairs have always received a well-timed response by the Vans community, and in this latest retro, he adds a Formula One twist. This is evidently seen on the Style 24, which is dressed in both an off-white and white, and a black and white canvas. The racing motif is seen through the checkerboard flag and heavy race-style branding.

Similar to the aforementioned pair, the Style 47 LX is constructed with a quilted material similar to that used to create racing suits in the ‘70s. The pair also features printed midsoles that pay homage to racing flags. Additionally, it will release in two colorways: “Baja Blue” and “Raven.”

The Taka Hayashi x Vault by Vans Style 24 has already released, while the Style 47 will be launching on March 1. Both pairs will be available on Vans.com.
