22. Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 998 “Tassie Devil”
In celebration of their 10-year anniversary, Australia-based Sneaker Freaker left their bite mark on a pair of New Balance 998s. Inspired by the Tasmanian Devil, the Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 998 “Tassie Devil” draped numerous hues of purple along the upper, and set atop a bone-colored, black-speckled midsole. Sinking their teeth in further, triangular fangs are seen on the forefoot to a create one of the best New Balances to come out of “Down Under.” Also worth noting, Sneaker Freaker gave a healthy donation to the campaign to help save the Tasmanian Devil from extinction with this launch.
