17. CNCPTS x New Balance 999 “S.E.A.L.”
This joint effort between Concepts and New Balance drew inspiration from the OTB Abyss II boot worn by U.S. Navy S.E.A.Ls. The functionality of this shoe matches the exquisite style by using stain-resistant microfiber suede and ballistic mesh in tandem with minimal seams and water and wind resistant treatments. Morse code encryption on the tongue branding and a Concepts patch on the insole add a touch of exclusivity fitting for a shoe carrying the name of such an elite group.
