At last weekend’s second annual Kick & Roll Classic, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament founded by our Editor-In-Chief George Kiel III and benefitting the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation, we saw a wide array of incredible kicks worn throughout the day on the hardwood as hoopers battled it out in Austin, Texas.
From the Air Mag to classic Jordans to oddities like the Dada Spinners, Hyperflight and even the Cole Haan Lunargrand, players from the 40 competing teams brought out their best pairs and some vintage favorites.
We even saw several pairs of customized kicks specific to the event, like “KR” Kyrie 1 iDs, a “Kick & Roll” miZX Flux and Kobe 9 iDs honoring George’s late mother Debra. Players also laced up special “blue knots” KCCF laces to highlight the official Colon Cancer Awareness color of blue.
Check out all of the action below in this extensive on-foot recap of the 2nd annual Kick & Roll Classic, and let us know your favorite pairs in the comments section below.
