The Bad
The Nike Dynasty Retro that will be hitting stores this upcoming holiday season is nice and simple silhouette, so why would it be the bad this week?
It seems the market is flooded with “simple” silhouettes from Nike. Yeah, the Dynasty is a little different from the Dunk, the Vandal, the Big Nike, the Terminator, the Jordan 1 Strap, etc., but how many people need another retro silhouette like this? It seems like there are plenty of other retros that could have been chosen. Or am I just being picky?
What’s next? Nike taking classic silhouettes and adding a plain, vulcanized sole to make them look simpler? Unfortunately, yes.
