The Good – Austin Jermacan’s winning Melo design
As part of the Future Sole 2009 Competition, 17-year old aspiring designer Austin Jermacan designed this Jordan Melo M6 concept. Its style and design was well-received by you to say the least (some of you stated that it was better than the original Jordan Melo M6). This concept M6 represents our ‘Good’ section because it was creativity is second to none in regards to its inspiration. Austin added the silver ringlets at the bottom of the shoe since Carmelo Anthony himself said the Converse Chuck Taylor was one of his favorite shoes. In addition, Carmelo stated that the Clae sneakers were some of his favorite. Therefore, Austin added a Clae-like design on the collar area. Is there anything bad to be said about this concept design?
