Back in 2001, the famed “Royal” colorway from the Nike Air Foamposite One made its way to the Pro. It wasn’t something traditionalist were quite ready for, but it was a great release nonetheless. This unconventional Foamposite Pro colorway returns in 2016.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Royal” seen below, keys on foundational elements from the OG “Royal” Foams while adding the Swoosh to the lateral siding. Other slight variances differentiate the shoe from the 2001 version, but the general aesthetic remains true. No release date next year has been confirmed just yet, so stay tuned for more.
