Today marks the highly anticipated release of the newly crafted Nike Air Max 95 Ultra Jacquard. A revival of sorts to celebrate the shoe’s 20th anniversary, this particular modern contemporary statement pays tribute to the past with a “Slate” colorway – tracking back to the storied colorway of the OG Air Max 95.
Ben Yun’s impressive new design joins foundational components of the revered silhouette with the latest Swoosh advancements like Jacquard fabrication and Dynamic Flywire cables over a slimmed frame. Although almost secondary to this inventive re-purposing, the “Slate” coloring marries Photo Blue and Game Royal against Wolf Grey all over a white base. Pairs are landing now at Japanese retailer atmos.
