Before a coveted sneaker like the Nike Kyrie 1 hits global retailers, it goes through multiple stages of design and performance progression. And in almost all cases, the final product has been revised more times than brand’s are willing to reveal. But practice makes perfect and samples don’t generate sales. That’s why the unveiling of this Kyrie 1 sample is all the more alluring. Seemingly a shell of what eventually became the Nike Kyrie 1 “Dream” colorway, this concept highlights slightly different coloring and an undone tongue and collar.
