Seeing as how 2015 marks the eleventh year of the Doernbecher Freestyle Program, Nike and OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital will be honoring the occasion by releasing a special “What The Doernbecher” take on the Nike SB Dunk High. Pieced together with 42 design elements from all thirteen of the program’s previous SB designs, this special offering also pays homage to the first SB Dunk that set the mashup “What The” motif in motion.

Limited to only eleven pairs, the Nike SB Dunk High “What The Doernbecher” will be auctioned on eBay, in sizes 8-12, 13 and 14, beginning on June 11th for a 10-day period. Making this release even more special, each pair will not only be housed in scrubs from the Doernbecher staff but will also be encased within a one-of-kind box made from recycled skateboard decks.

With all proceeds from the sales set benefit the hospital, a detailed look at this tribute Nike SB Dunk High variation is featured below. Will you be joining in tomorrow’s bidding wars? Drop us a line in the comments and let us know if you’re looking forward to the official unveiling of this year’s Doernbecher Freestyle Collection on October 23rd.
