Nike’s muse, the University of Oregon athletic program, continues to benefit from operating in proximity of Nike headquarters and acting as the alma mater for its co-founder, Phil Knight. The latest testament to that claim is a polarizing Nike LeBron Solider 9 PE the Ducks laced up with this past weekend.
The 25th ranked Ducks rolled over Savannah State Friday night with a dominate 18 point victory. During that game, and following a preview of a green pair, the team donned this white rendition of the LeBron Solider 9 with timely green accents and the duck logo perched fittingly at the heel tab. Likely not a shoe that will ever see a general release, but a nice one to look at nonetheless.
