Much of the Nike SB lineage is closely tied to that of its first signature athlete, Paul Rodriguez. P-Rod is among the most recognizable names and faces in skate culture, due in large to his decade long affiliation with Nike SB. And over that 10 year span, his signature line has revolutionized skate shoes. That’s why the Primitive x Nike SB Dunk Low is more than just any old SB collab.
Designed by Primitive co-founder Andy Netkin with his favorite colorway of the P-Rod 1 in mind, the Primitive x Nike SB Dunk Low features P-Rod’s signature monogram on the heel while returning the now classic color scheme first debuted 10 years ago. Releasing with an apparel offering which includes two tees, a hoody and lightweight steel jacket, the Primitive x Nike SB Dunk Low drops on Wednesday, June 17, at the skate shops webstore. A wider release to more Nike SB accounts will follow on June 20.
