Daniel Arsham has tapped The Shoe Surgeon on a collection featuring the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 7, and Air Jordan 8 for his “Le Modulor du Basketball” exhibit in Marseilles which takes inspiration from an iconic modernist building.
The collection takes after the famous Le Corbusier’s Unite d’habitation, using premium grey materials to mimic the concrete structure. Hints of primary colors are placed throughout as a pop of color, similarly seen in the building’s painted balconies with Daniel Arsham and The Shoe Surgeon branding found throughout, replacing the Jumpman. Custom heeltabs are seen on the AJ 3 and AJ 7 with the AJ 1 featuring a structured take on the Swoosh and the AJ 8 featuring custom midfoot straps as well.
The Shoe Surgeon x Daniel Arsham “Le Modulor du Basketball” collection is on display at MAMO in Marseilles. Check out the photos below of the collection and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
