Coming off the news of Trevor Lawrence signing a multi-year deal with adidas, the Three Stripes has announced their signing of Top 5 NBA draft prospect Jalen Green to the roster. In their initial press release, they described that “Green fits the brand’s approach to signing explosive players on court with creative & expressive personalities off court.”
The former 5-star shooting guard who chose to forego playing in college to join the NBA G League, averaged 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game during his 15 games for Team Ignite.
Green joins an adidas Basketball lineup that has an elite roster with the likes of James Harden, Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Zach Lavine, and Trae Young.
“adidas has been a part of my life for a while now, and when the opportunity arose to join the brand leading up to my rookie year, I thought, why not join the family? They’ve always accepted me as family and shown love. On the court, I’m going to bring excitement and a winning mentality to the next level. If you lock in and watch me play, you’ll see my competitive edge. And back in Fresno, I want the kids who are watching me there to know that they can do it too.”

With adidas Basketball continuing to grow their roster, it’ll be interesting to see which player will be in line to receive their next signature sneaker. Perhaps it’ll be Green, who we expect to dominate the courts in the near-future.
