Nike SB will reportedly go cinematic for its latest inspiration: The Wizard of Oz x Nike SB Dunk Low “Ruby Slipper” collaboration. Inspired by Dorothy’s iconic red shoes from the 1939 classic, this vibrant iteration captures the essence of the film’s magic and nostalgia.
The sneaker will be constructed in a graphic pattern, inspired by a scene in which Dorothy lies in a field of poppy flowers. Red, yellow, and black collide on the pattern graphic while red takes over the Swoosh, laces, and outsole. Additionally, a velour red tongue and lining complete the colorway.
Other rumored details include the heel saying “There’s no place like home,” which was the famous quote from the movie. The Nike tongue reportedly says “Wizard Of Oz,” completing the story.
