Since the initial release of the adidas Ultra Boost earlier this year, it’s quickly rendered a mass following among a widely diverse audience. A performance-based runner with sartorial greatness bursting at its (Primeknit) seams, it gave adidas the footing they needed to navigate a growth fueled 2015.

That said, it didn’t take long before they knew they had a hit on their hands with the Ultra Boost. Similarly, little time would pass before they updated the model, as its budding “wave” iteration is now trickling about to retailers. First introduced in a vibrant women’s colorway, the latest makeup takes on a more traditional yet equally impressive tonal approach. Incorporating grey, white and off-white coloring, gradient fades throughout the breathable base give the shoe a layered stance while full-length Boost cushioning remains a constant below.

Carrying the same name as its predecessor though clearly an enhancement, give this striking adidas Ultra Boost a look below and pick up a pair now at Sneaker Politics.
