Since the news of the Jordan 13 coming back, it has been the topic of discussion of many Jordan heads. That being said, what better shoe to select for Throwback Thursday than a Jordan 13 that still has not been remade.
Jordan Brand took over the reigns in 1996 with the Jordan 12 being the first model under the new brand’s control. The Jordan 13 however was the first to be made in a low top by Brand Jordan. In fact, ever since the Jordan 13, there has been a low top made of every Air Jordan. Something unique about this pair is its predominant chutney color. Following this pair was a string of “after-season” light brown colored kicks. The Jordan 14 low had a ginger lowtop and the Jordan 16 had a ginger mid. In 2004, JB brought back the Jordan 13 in a mid top white/wheat, but for many, it just wasn’t the same as the original. |
