History of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro

In one of the more powerful and poignant scenes within He Got Game, Ray Allen and Denzel Washington discuss their prior issues while Allen’s character sports the “Pearl” iteration of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro. Featuring “Pearl” hues throughout the upper with shades of black canvassing the Nike branding and the inner lining, this model was a strong colorway for the lineage.

Initially releasing back in 1997, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro drew a ton of commentary due to its high price-point and unique design. Featuring an inner-constructed bootie and carbon fiber plates along the midsole, finely-paced traction patterning hubs added further performance functionality.
