Todd Snyder, with several cocktail-inspired New Balance collaborations under his belt, is taking a break from mixology to explore the intricacies of the color wheel. For his seventh New Balance installment, the New York-based designer pulls inspiration from his playful Peanuts collaboration to inform the lighthearted nature of his latest New Balance 998.

“We had so much fun creating the Todd Snyder x Peanuts collection of athletic apparel and timepieces, and really wanted to offer a colorful sneaker with a similar vibe,” Snyder expressed. “As a lifelong fan of New Balance, I loved being able to take the iconic 998 shoe and reimagine it in playful, wearable technicolor.”

Cemented in a neutral grey with surrounding red, blue, yellow and green shades, Snyder offers up one of the more whimsical variations of the New Balance 998 in recent memory. Premium suede and mesh is consistent with the traditional silhouette, as is the Abzorb midsole cushioning.
