When Grant Hill was destroying competition in Detroit, he had Fila at the forefront of basketball. He kept Fila afloat by himself…literally. Matter of fact, after he won 1995’s Rookie of the Year award, sales of his Original Fila Grant Hill skyrocketed to more than 1.5 million pairs. For this reason alone, Grant Hill’s sneaker line sneaks into our list. Dear Mr. Grant Hill, Thank you for helping us gain a basketball fan base for a few years… I started the letter for you Fila!
