10. Air Jordan 12 Low Obsidian/University Blue-White
Original Release: 2004
The Lowdown: Jordan Brand decided to trim the Air Jordan 12 down by giving it a low-top formation in 2004. This “Obsidian” pair was the first of the two men?s Air Jordan 12 Low colorways to release (the other being the previously-seen “Taxi” Air Jordan 12 Low). This pair was gained more interest than the “Taxi” colorway because it featured a similar color pattern seen on the Air Jordan 12s MJ wore in the 1997 NBA All-Star Game.
9. Air Jordan 11 Low “Varsity Red”
Original Release: 2001
The Lowdown: Sure, the original colorways of the Air Jordan 11 Low IE were cool and garnered a lot of interest, but the true Air Jordan 11 low-top won over sneaker enthusiasts instantly during the summer of 2001. The “Varsity Red” Air Jordan 11 Low released on the same day as another Air Jordan 11 low top that sits in our top five. Keep clicking.
