Hitting seven three-pointers and scoring a game-high 37 points, Stephen Curry helped to lead the Golden State Warriors to their third championship in four years by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-85 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Friday. Wanting to celebrate Curry’s latest career achievement, Under Armour created a new commercial that not only honors the Warriors All-Star, it also addresses his critics.
In the ad, a chorus of critics lambast Curry for ruining basketball with his deep three-pointers. Curry’s habit of chewing his mouthguard is also criticized as critics chime in one after another trying to find fault in the Warriors superstar’s game. However at the end of the ad, a young boy effectively tells Curry’s critics to stop yapping by reminding everyone that he is a three-time NBA champion.
“Well, guess who’s on top? If you don’t like it, do something about it,” the boy says.
