Dedicated to America’s first major efforts in the Middle East, UNDFTD’s New Balance 1500 is set to release in just over a week. Combining the patriotic red, white and blue look with the military-inspired liner and numerous desert browns, this colorway works to pay tribute to Operation Desert Storm and also the soldiers who participated in it.
The most unique part of this shoe may be the above-noted liner, which shows the desert camo worn by American forces in the 1990s. The United States has since switched to digital camouflage, as most of you know. The upper is constructed with numerous shades of brown and tan suede, including a dark shade on the perforated toe box. Check for these in stores and online on Saturday, May 5th.
