By our estimation, one of the best new footwear brands is undoubtedly No.One. The Los Angeles-based brand helmed by Mark Gainor is touching culture in a very intimate way, with locally produced, handmade luxury sneakers. The brand today introduces their first official collaboration with storied LA retailer, Union.
Ganior, joined by Union’s long tenured leader and fashion aficionado, Chris Gibbs, offer a limited edition collection centered around No.One’s Bravo silhouette. A premium low-top constructed in a one-piece Italian leather upper, the budding style also features lambskin lining from France, Tuscan vegetable tanned leather tongue and heel materials, and premium waxed laces. Moreover, each pair was produced at No.One’s studio in Venice, CA.
Ever modern-day, the Union x No.One Bravo is also a tribute to the late-great Mobb Deep frontman, Prodigy. Each model features “For those who wanna profile and pose” written at the lateral siding near the heel, a classic bar from P on “Shook Ones Pt II.”
Light Blue and Tan editions of the Bravo are due at Union’s La Brea location and online tomorrow, July 27, with a second delivery in Royal Blue and Rose releasing at a later date. 12 pairs of colorway will be available for $675.
