The Union x Air Jordan 2 “Rattan” Arrives Soon

Alongside the “Grey Fog” colorway, the Union x Air Jordan 2 is dropping in “Rattan” as well in 2022, and we get a first look at the collaborative sneaker.

The sneaker uses a ballistic mesh base in tan called Rattan with suede on the overlays in Rattan as well. Orange Peel is used as accenting on the sneaker, most prominently seen on the lace overlay and underneath the perforated Rattan suede. The collaborative Air Jordan 2 features more circles on the ankle collar which also features a sample tag featuring the Wings logo, Union branding, and HO21 on the tag symbolizing a Holiday 2021 drop but due to issues with the supply chain, it won’t make it in time.

Union and Jordan Brand co-branding is seen on the tongue tag and insole, with the Union LA tag seen on the Orange Peel lace overlay mentioned earlier. The sneaker also uses a deconstructed tongue with exposed foam, similarly seen on their previous Air Jordan collabs. Lastly, a tan midsole and outsole finish off the sneaker.
