Australian-based Up There has partnered with Saucony for a new iteration of the Grid 8000 inspired by a time-honored Japanese stitching custom birthed through a rich farming history.
Sashiko, a form of reinforced stitching often used in a decorative methodology, crowns this Grid 8000 alongside a unique canvas base topped by smooth overlays. The stitching, though, is obviously the shoe’s most adoring sartorial moment, seen at the forefoot and the paneling. Leather liners aid the model comfort and cool while a branded tongue tag calls out the collaboration.
Look for the Up There x Saucony Grid 8000 “Sashiko” this Friday at select retailers like Feature.
