A great time was had by many at SXSW, but tragedy unfortunately struck. During the festivities, a car crash took the lives of two attendees and injured many more. Vans answered the call to help those afflicted by the unfortunate event by raising $20,000 for the SXSW Cares Fund. The money was collected via sales from the Vans Village, with all proceeds benefiting the families affected by the audience. Salute to Vans for showing support, and thoughts and prayers to those hurt. Anyone wanting to donate to the fund can do do so at the SXSW Cares Fund.
