Anthony Van Engelen has seen several signature shoes, an apparel collection, and the closing part of the skate film, Propeller during his tenure at Vans. Over a decade later and we get a first look at his most recent shoe with the brand, the AV Rapidweld Pro Lite. Similar to the UltraRange Pro, this silhouette is focused on the technical advancements designed for skateboarding, as it features a seamless upper with a reduced overall weight.
Vans’ Ultracush sockliner provides a close to the board feel, while ensuring absolute shock absorption after kick-flipping an eight-stair. Lastly, this style features a classic waffle sole and durable toecap that allows for more time skating and less time waiting on a new pair to come in the mail.
The Vans AV Rapidweld Pro Lite is now available at select retailers like Vans and online.
