This morning saw the earlier-than-expected release of the Vans California Old Skool Re-Issue collection. It turns out Proper has more up its sleeve, as the Long Beach retailer has also made the Era and Authentic One-Piece from the same line available.
The Authentics, as the name would suggest, use a single piece of material for each shoe’s upper. Tan, blue and black are all available. The Eras use multiple pieces, as the quarter panel is perforated while the toe and heel are solid. Gold eyelets appear on all three shoes, as does a tan leather liner.
