Vans draws inspiration from ASCII, one of the original computer languages with the addition of disruptive graphics caused by screen timeouts for their latest rendition of the Sk8-Hi.
The ’90s inspired colors and motifs throughout the suede and canvas makeup incorporate a grid-like pattern with Microsoft Paint inspired details on the tongue and a digital hourglass icon that’s displayed on the quarter-panel.
Additionally, the shoe is rendered with a series of jazz-stripes that are layered on top of each other, while the midsole extends onto the shoe itself to round out the glitch appeal.
