When you walk into one of Sweet Chick’s New York City locations, it’s easy to find the menu a bit overwhelming.
Stuffed with comfort-focused New American cuisine, among the menu favorites are the soothing (and filling) chicken and waffles.
In a collaborative partnership with Vans, the restaurant and American footwear brand pay tribute to the staple dish with budding Era and Slip-On iterations.
Playing on their own brand tagline, Vans smartly labels the pack “Off the Waffles” and utilizes its waffle outsole in the most fitting scenario possible. The upper highlights a light mesh fabrication alongside a griddled texture that works in tandem with the outsole.
