Vans unveils its latest Made for the Elements lineup featuring the Vans UltraRange EXO Hi MTE-2, the Vans Sk8-Hi MTE-2, and the all-new Vans Coastal Colfax MTE-1 Boot. The range of lifestyle and surf products are inspired by adventure and include a range of apparel including the Vans MTE-1 Jacket.
For the MTE-2, Vans enhanced the Made for the Elements technology with advanced Moisture Management, Thermoregulation, and Traction. Using this technology, Vans created the Coastal MTE Collection designed to better address the needs of the cold-water surfer.
From surf to sand, the Vans UltraRange EXO Hi MTE-2 features a HydroGuard 360 waterproof package, a PrimaLoft cold weather thermal package, and features All-Trac rubber compound outsole for all-terrain grip. The high-top silhouette has a Beige exterior with Navy and Red accents throughout. The upper sits atop a Black outsole and Beige midsole complete with Vans branding on the heel.
The Vans Colfax MTE-1 Boot is also equipped for keeping your feet warm and dry while seeking the surf of your dreams. The boot features a water resistant upper for breathable moisture management protection, a lugged tread pattern outsole, a PrimaLoft cold weather thermal package, and a single-density UltraCush molded EVA footbed. The model is offered in shades of Sea Moss and Sand.
For more casual style, the Vans Sk8-Hi MTE-2 takes one of Vans’ most iconic silhouettes and upgrades it with MTE specs featuring All-Trac, HydroGuard 360 waterproof package, PrimaLoft, a molded sockliner, and an OrthoLite topsheet. Offered in “Retro Block” and “Glitter Black,” the colorways take inspiration from ’90s campground aesthetic and the starry night sky.
The Vans Coastal MTE Collection featuring the Vans UltraRange EXO Hi MTE-2 and Vans Colfax MTE-1 Boot is available now at Vans.com and select Vans retailers. The Vans Sk8-Hi MTE-2 will be available beginning October 15th.
