Vans jumps on the DIY trend with a personalized rendition of the Sk8-Hi.
This take features a mostly black upper with suede toecaps and eyestays, while a quilted application lines the quarter-panels. The sides also incorporate an exposed foam with a contrasting tone on the quilted checkerboard textile above. The heels are stitched with a yellow nylon fabric that’s stamped with Vans and Since 1966 icons, while the tongue branding displays mismatched blue and yellow accents. Lastly, the insoles are stamped with a paisley print on the insoles.
