Way back when Vans first found fame, skaters praised them for their ability to withstand hardcore skating. And for this Fall and Winter, Vans has released a Sk8 Mid to withstand hardcore weather for as long as possible. The WR stands for Weather Resistant, and that’s just what these sneakers set out to be. The uppers come in either black or grey suede and canvas with matching vulcanized midsoles. On the grey sole, the entire shoe is near monochromatic, while the black pair gets a blue-grey stripe for the sole and laces. Both are lined with thick cotton for extra padding and warmth, just like the “California Wool” Pack we saw not too long ago. Click here for pics of both pairs. |
