The Vans Style 238 became the solution to skateboarding in the streets during the late ’80s thanks to its additional rubberized panel that extends from the midsole to the quarter-panel, thus preserving the shoe’s lifespan while skating. This offering features a completely suede upper as opposed to the traditional suede and canvas makeup of the Sk8-Hi, while also incorporating padded heel collars and a Vans Native patch on the side.
