Vans refuses to get left out of the Holiday releases game, as this V2041 Hi just became available overseas. Naturally, the red and white colorway is to be expected, but some nice material selection keeps these Vans different from the other Valentine’s Day sneakers we’ve seen. The upper is done in all white patent leather. The toe, forefoot, heel and “Stripe” panels use standard patent, but the remainder of the upper uses a quilted stitching pattern. To divide the panels appropriately, red contrast stitching appears throughout, matching the outsole, liner and “Vans” on the midsole heel. Finally, the tongue label surrounds the branding bit with a bright red heart. |
