More or less on hiatus since its popular debut in Aliens, the Reebok Stomper is back and again fostering sci-fi motifs with its alien design. The Visual Countermeasures Project (VCMP) selected the Reebok Stomper as a means to symbolize their mission statement: to encourage debate concerning the current societal trend of public securitization and its resultant dirty laundry, privacy erosion. The VCMP x Reebok Stomper is fully covered in reflective Scotchlite that bolsters the shoe’s already foreign aesthetic.
